Abrag Algd is founded in 2010 as a private company for building and construction materials according to Libya Ministry of Economy,

resolution No 26819/2010.

Abrag Algd Cement and Building Materials Complex – Libya is planing to set up on an exploration region of 16300Hectare in Bani Walid – Libya.

Modern Environment Friendly Cement Plants with a total capacity of 3.390.000 Tons per Annum (TPA) :

Ordinary Portland Cement Factory:

Production capacity of 2.000.000 two million tons annually.

 

White Portland Cement Factory:

 A production capacity of 1,300,000 million and three hundred thousand tons annually.

 

Sulfate and Salt Resistant Cement Factory (special cement for oil and gas wells):

Production capacity of 400,000 tons annually.

Mineral Wool Factory ( sound and heat insulators):

With a production capacity of 35,000 tons per year.

 

Bulk Gypsum Factory:

with a production capacity of 250 thousand tons per year.

The formwork used in building materials 1.7 million meters annually.

Gypsum boards, suspended ceilings, 12 million square meters annually.

 

Cristobalite Factory 

(manufacture of heat- and cold-resistant paint used for fuel tanks, gas pipelines and roads).

Factory of building materials of all kinds.

Abrag Algd signed Agreements with all of:

1. Steinbeis Germany for the training of Personal.

2. FLSmidth for The Design, Supply and Installation of the Cement Plants Equipments.

3. Grenzebach for The Design, Supply and Installation of Gypsum, Gypsum Plaster Boards, Mineral Wool and Cristobalite Plants.
